I contacted Mark and he's recommended installing php on windows VPS. =
This is
the more expensive option (of course). Will probably go for them =
unless...

I have found another host with very comprehensive features

others. As a simple unbiased comment in answer to your findings, and =

I'm not ravingly for them, just impressed, have you considered 'phoning =
them
(Mark) and asking what they can do for your particular needs? I found =

flexible.
