I had the NTL man round yesterday and the conversation was something
like this.

-Urrm well I'm not interested in NTL thanks

>Hmm Not Interested, May I ask why? Do you already have another provider?

-Yes I use Nildram for Internet(doh, he got me talking again).

>May I ask how much you pay?

-Can't remember, about 14 quid but I don't care if your cheaper because
I had NTL while living in Brighton and it was crap. I would spend hours
waiting for customer support on the phone.

>Hmm, how long ago was that sir?

-Look to be honest i'm not considering getting NTL at all.

>Hmm not considering... If I was to tell you...

-Look honestly i'm not going to buy NTL. Ever. Believe me.

>OK I understand that but if I was to....

-No, Please, Trust me, I won't buy NTL, I don't even have a telly and
your prices are rubbish anyway.

>Ahhh but we have a new pric.....

-Please can we end this conversation now, you are wasting your time,
give up, don't bother.

>Yes, I know but.....

-No that's it, please go now, leave, I no longer wish to speak with you.

>Oh OK.

And with that, looking very dissapointed, he left, phew. But not only
that, he walked out into the street looked around a bit sheepish and the
left the street altogether! Horay!!! Mayby he's gone to find a decent
job instead of turning up at peoples houses uninvited.
