OK, I'm going to TRY and put this as objectively and accurately as I can. I
am English, I've actually fought for my country in two (reocgnised) wars, I
have literally fought and possibly died for my country, I am now living
happily in Northern Ireland which had historically been a bad pace for the
English.

I am PROUD of the performance of the players left on the pitch, I am no
follower of football, but I follow MY country. Live in England you SUPPORT
England, the players are chosen for a reason, whatever that may be WE follow
them and support THEM

If YOU learned the RULES then comment, until that moment SHUT UP and be
proud of the team, if you are not English (as suspected!)where are your team
in the tournament?

If this is the way a UK mailing list is going then count me out!

what a result.

I hate sport and detest football - the only part of the world cup I happened
to watch was the penalty shoot out - where the england goalie cheated every
time - he is NOT supposed to move - and one england player tried to cheat by
kicking before the goal keeper was ready - he didn't get away with that -
but what a result - seems england cheated earlier in the match as well with
rooney being sent of for a nasty foul - why can't sport just be sport -
instead of this crap. maybe now we can get the normal telly programmes back
instead of 'sport' railroading everything! I hope so,
