Well I can't get:
Ghost
Zone Alarm to run,

The spec is
Foxconn 945 7AA using the intel 945 chip set
cpu - P4 630 MT
ram - 1.5 gig 533
HD - 250gig Maxtor SATA
vid - GF6800 X Extreme gamer 512 dual DVI.

Xp has been locking on me, never had that before. Have a copy of 64bit
windows, but a friend of mine has tried it and had more problems than me. so
still using 32 bit XP.

I am 99% certain my problem lays in the bios settings, especially the
on-chip settings, and port speed settings. I know I will not get the 3meg
transfer rate, because the drive is only 7200 spindle speed, but there are
so many settings on this bios. Have read manual, all other material on the
net I've found relates to good/bad or bench testing, nothing explaining the
settings.....
