PHP/Ajax not necessarily for the type of site but more because that's what
you know.
ASP used that years ago, but I find php more flexible and more cost
effective.
But that's my own personal opinion...

How do you get a Random numebr number in Classic Asp that changes every time
you enter a page.
This doesn't work for me as I keep getting the same number

I have used Click Cart Pro a couple of times recently. I think it more=20=
or less has everything that you would want, although it can be quite=20
tricky to customize and requires a bit of patience....

The obvious ones to go for are osCommerce, CREloaded, VirtuMart -I've used
em all, and they are all fairly simple to use and template.

You could try osCommerce or ZenCart - osCommerce has had some good reviews,
and is free; ZenCart is based on osCommerce, and is a little harder to
configure.

Somebody made an e-commerce plugin for wordpress, try to search for - it was
quite good and low priced (the smallest version was for free I think)
