With .uk domains, the current registrar does the transfer of IPS tag - so it =
can be difficult if the registrar start playing dirty. However, If you are the =
legal owner of the domain you can force a transfer (change of IPS tag) through =
nominet directly. This costs somewhere between =A315 and =A330 pounds and the =
form can be downloaded from the nominet website www.nic.uk. The trouble with =
this is that you can't just do a regular transfer online with someone like =
123-reg - you'd need a physical contact at an ISP to do this.
Luckily, we have our own I-P-S tag, and would be happy for you to transfer the =
domain to us while you find a new host.
If that's of help drop me a line.
Tom.
