There's a developer toolbar add on that will allow you to switch caching off:-

I just spent 20mins trying to figure out why something worked in FF and IE6 but not IE7, which turned out to be down to IE7 not getting the latest version on refresh. (have tested and even shift+refresh doesnt force it to redownload)
