FN-FORUM: Retaining credit card details

Hi All

My client would like to charge customers for using certain areas of
their site. They want to be able to retain the customers credit card
details and use them to take payment from as and when.

I don't want to keep the credit card details in their current shared
MySQL database. Is it possible to store the card details using, for
example, Worldpay and using an api trigger a transaction?

So when the customer first signs up to the service, have them input
their card details and store them on worldpay.
