FN-FORUM: Domain transfer question

Hi all,

Before I launch into my question, I just want to say Happy New Year!!

Now question time.... I have just come back from my few days off to
discover a client has sold his website to a new person. The new owner
now wants the domains transferred over to him - there is a .co.uk and
.com for the site. He is suggesting a nominet transfer, however I right
in thinking this could be done without the Nominet fee if I just got the
owner to sign up to 123reg (where I bought the .co.uk) and then I could
transfer it over to him and do the same for the .com from godaddy?
