I don't want to assume that anyone is using outlook. I would like a solution
that fits all... I was using outlook (because that is what I have) to try
stuff out.

Errrm: you are making the assumption that the mail recipient will be using
MS outlook.
This is a bad assumption. If you *really* must do this sort of thing - test
it
against many different mail readers ... before going back to your customer
to say that it is a stupid idea.
