Thanks Guys,

I'll try the things you suggest. Regarding the splash page - actually i
agree absolutely with you and would like not to use it but my problem is
that i have so many sites in the root that if i let Drupal loose in there
too I'm afraid it will be a big mess. This would be a problem of directing
the domain to the drupal page? I haven't looked into it yet - as you can see
i'm muddling through at this stage.

I'll let you know what happens with the DIV,

Yes this is what originally confused me, I never use these I really dont see
the point well unless its a flash website that requires a load screen. Its
because the original post had a link to the splash page rather than a link
to the page in question, never mind I got there in the end :)
