now that one doesn't mention VAT number, which i though was now required to
be displayed...

...ok.. i've just phoned the Companies House Contact Centre, and this page
shows only the information *that companies house now legally requires*. the
full legislation may be more wide ranging than is apparent from this web
page (e.g. they said VAT number *may* now be required, but won't comment on
that!)

more confusion!
