That assumes that the average punter has a reasonable level of common sense which I think we all know isnt the case! just look at all the people scammed by Prince something-or-other from nigeria who needs to transfer his vast fortune to a uk bank and will give you a healthy lump of cash for helping him out...

Even when the details are on display theres no guarentee they're genuine, how many people are actually going to take the time to check out a companies credentials before they order? yes, you should do it but I doubt many will.
