it certainly does, they added 'geocoding' to the google maps API recently, there are other services that'll geocode for you too. The problem with that is that you enter an address and get a longitude and latitude back, which isnt exactly what duncan wants, unless its easier to get a list of towns/citys referanced by lat/long than it is by postcode?
