Hi Dominic, What I'd do is this.... Within the embed data, have the src attribute pointing at a dynamic file with id relating to the object, such as animation.php?id=. Note how it's not an .swf link...

Wordpad and DW8 for me DW's code completion feature is really handy at times and even though I mostly use it for hand coding (still doesnt handle CSS properly in design view) I prefer it to Wordpad....
