the majority do as I'm aware - although correct me if I'm wrong.

Of course, checking the process monitor occasionally isn't going to
protect you at all, it'd be quite easy for a worm to start, do it's
nastiness, and then stop itself again within a matter of seconds and
you'd never know.

However, I don't have any filesharing software, my mail is scanned, I
turn off html email and have a hardware firewall. Plus all my software
is legit.

My dad has Norton on his PC - that thing IS a virus! Seems to cause more
problems than it fixes!
