Hello Phil
Counldn't find what I was looking for but have had a play with photoshop and
with blending options such as drop shadow if you apply a shadow to a layer
and have global lighting ticked then when u make a new layer add a shape to
that layer and then apply a drop shadow to that layer if global lighting is
also ticked on that and you try to change the settings it will change for
all the layers using global lighting.
