Hi,

I've been reading the thread with great interest and would be very
interested in being 'mentored'. I'm just taking my GCSE's and in about a
months time will have an extra long summer holiday before starting sixth
form. In this time i hoped to try and get started freelancing.

In terms of experience i have very little however i am currently putting the

finishing touches on my first 'real' project (http://skolelinux.no/) and
have two more projects for the summer. One of these is a small project for a

teacher at my school and the other is another website for the main Debian
GNU/Linux project. My portfolio is http://james.isafreelancer.com/Portfolio

I currently follow this mailing list with great interest along with a VB.NET

forum, and two other web design forums. I have also helped in teaching web
design to fellow classmates at school and have helped with some maintenance
on the school website. I have also taken an AS Level in computing a year
early for which i got an A grade. I taught myself the entire syllabus and
had very little help from my teacher in achieving this, because he has never

taught AS level before.

If anyone would be interested in mentoring me i would be very grateful.
Obviously because of my age (16 and cant drive) it would be very hard to
meet up however i am very motivated and enjoy teaching myself new skills. If

anyone is interested, please feel free to contact me off list.
