RE: FN-FORUM: Mentoring (was: Programmers)

I have to agree with Ben, it is very encouraging to see this sort of
enthusiasm and should not go unrewarded. And if your into AJAX and XML then
you are definitely heading in the right direction for future development
work.
James: Send me more details off list and I may be able to help.

I'd like to praise James's early start self-motivation and persistence - I
wish I'd been half as ambitious and pro-active at 16! I'd also like to
commend James's good standard of English spelling and grammar - not at all
common in your average teenager. Congratulations on the early AS-Level
result - most impressive.
James, you told us in December that your skill set includes: Photoshop,
Dreamweaver, Flash, HTML and XHTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL - is this correct?
You also mentioned AJAX in passing and VB.NET in your most recent post; have
you done anything with these technologies yet?
With your early-start enthusiasm and accomplished skill set, busy members of
the forum would be mad not to contact you to discuss options. I for one plan
to get in touch.
Regards,
Ben
