I also agree you are doing very well for yourself there James, I'm 21 but I
didn't start quite as early as 16 so your self-motivation and perseverance
is remarkable, good effort. I wish I had done a post like yours now, you'll
have the offers flooding!
Although I haven't taken the developer route that it seems you have, I've
kept up with my graphic & web design but I come from an art & design
background so I've always been one for getting creative with the hands and
also such things as video & photography have been a big part of my learning
and work.
I'm very confident in my skills area but I do lack that "commercial
experience" that companies seem to be after - its almost like 'catch 22' I
have a year or so of it but that doesn't seem to be enough so I beleive I'm
in a similar position as you now, just finishing off a degree so freelance
is where I am currently at but would love of commercial post or like you
said so mentoring! Can only be good for me and my CV ;)
(quite the essay there)
