I had a link to a wonderful story somewhere about how modern copyright
law has largely become restrictive due to the efforts of Walt Disney in
the first instance, a man who ripped off most of the popular movies at
the time into cartoon versions, grew very rich and then hunted down
anyone for the mere hint of copying...

what happens when we stop worrying about maps and just use SATNAV and
near-live satellite images?
