On one hand you have a point,
but why has this story has generated so much publicity, when thousands of
kids go missing every month - I cannot help feeling that it is driven by th=
e
media who have more interest because it is a photogenic little white kid at
the merciless hands of johnny foreigner or the incompetent policing of pc
foreigner
Similarly - the kids who died abroad because of a faulty gas boiler, as
horrible as that is for the parents - I knew someone who died at uni for th=
e
same reason - why was that not reported in the papers? I think there is mor=
e
milage in a story where we can vilify someone especially if they are foreig=
n
Finally - if the newspapers wants to make an altruistic gesture and offer a
reward to try and secure the girls release - now come they have their logo
printed on it, if celebs want to make a gesture - why is it they want their
pictures in the paper - publicity and pr?
