I'm not sure I agree with that. Anyone know the 'class' of the parents of Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman? Jamie Bulger?

The point is there is a young girl missing - irrespective of her parents so-called class - and if you're given the opportunity to do something which may make a difference (however small) then I for one feel its rather heartless to refuse on the grounds that you object to the media coverage of the story.

This gets me, if it had been a lower class couple in exactly the same
circumstances the papers would have been full of "Chavs go on drunken binge
whilst abandoning kids" social services would have the twins in foster care
already.

I do feel sorry for them nothing must hurt like losing a child but the
hypocrisy and double standards annoys me.

I agree, while I hope that any missing children are returned to their
parents, I don't think this story would have been anywhere near as big if
the parents weren't an attractive, professional couple with a pretty
daughter.

How must all the other parents who've lost children in be feeling in the
light of all this publicity for this one family?
