I wouldn't expect a designer/developer to be expert in either
field, they're two massively different disciplines and its rare you'll
find a brilliant designer who's got hardcore .net skills... it just
doesn't happen! Sure, you can have talent in both areas but generally
designer/developers are skilled, but don't excel in either area - an
all-rounder you might say.
Its always worth a shot applying for the roles that require one or two
other skills you don't have, nobody expect you to know everything! The
last job I got I didn't have 4 of the skills on their list, but made up
for that with other things.
I'm surprised theres not many specific design or specific development
roles going, usually you see a good mix of both - I guess companies are
trying to get more for their money with the all-rounders!
