Yes. One of the nice things about 123 reg is that it is very easy to do=20
exactly this. Unlike some "cheap" companies that extract extra money
for this.

No, you do not need to transfer the domain, or alter the nameservers,
just modify the current DNS records so that the A record points to=20
new.new.new.new rather than old.old.old.old. Go to the control=20
panel and navigate your way to "manage DNS".
I realise I'm contradicting the three previous replies but I've just=20
double-checked by logging in to my 123 account and checking
that it really is that straightforward.
