No. I can't see that. The Access data is shared using whatever "data
provider" you have for Access installed on that server. Maybe that is the
problem? There could also be a problem with user rights. MSSQL is designed
for this kind of thing: multi-user use on a server, and is prefered as a
long-term solution. It is just so much more powerful in so many ways and I
think you can now get a free web interface to edit your MSSQL database (I
haven't used it, only seen it), so I can't really see a reason why you'd
prefer Access.
What data provider are you using (on the server) for Access?
