RE: FN-FORUM: FW: ADH WebCreations

Hi,
Have another look, I've amended the home page a bit and fixed the link
at the bottom - haven't done the other pages yet, although some of the
css change will affect them, want to get this page done and then copy
the amendments to the other pages.
If I want one bit of text in one colour and then the next bit in another
how would I do this without using font tags?
Can you expand on what you mean by "having something to differentiate
the part with content but outside the main content box from the rest of
the background" - do you mean just having it a completely different
colour other then another shade of blue?
I'll definitely have a think about a list for the links.
Cheers
Ashley

Are you *sure* it validates? I'm seeing lots of open paragraphs and no
close paragraph tags. I couldn't check, unfortunately, because the W3C
links at the bottom are broken.
On doing it manually- you're right, it does validate. 4.01 transitional
really does let you get away with any old nonsense, doesn't it?
I would think visually you could use having something to differentiate
the part with content but outside the main content box from the rest of
the background- it seems like a box with some text outside it. I'm not
too big on design myself but that was striking to me.
Also when I mouseover the bottom row of content I get an underline over
the whole line and it shrinks slightly.
Why not use a list for your list of links? That would be more
semantically accurate.
The buttons on the right of the homepage look a bit flattened and odd to
my eye.
Why are you using font tags?
The logo looks a bit shoddy- there are stray bright pixels outside the
lettering and they really show up.
Aside from that, I've seen worse...
