Hi

For a managed service which controls all the nitty gritty (haven't used that
expression for ages :)) I thoroughly recommend
http://www.campaignmonitor.com/ which I have used several times for clients.

Not only do they manage the actual sending of the e-mail, they also deal
with the mail list plus unsubscribing and they know all the issues and they
have a gallery of e-mail templates.
