Ahhh

seems that ip6tables was running, rather that iptables, where I had set the=
=20
ports as open.=20

running the iptables through webmin gave the clue. As ip6 had ports like 20=
86=20
etc open.

Put a halt to the ip6 and started the iptables and bingo .

The mystical art of the firewall.

Many thanks Alain, much app your help. Sometimes its good just to have some=
one=20
to sound off against, (though you did give more than that).
