I am on os x - not windows
They are def not in use - it has been like that for 2 years !!

Hi have you checked if these folders or files are actually in use/running?
try going to start - run- type in msconfing - ok then click on start up.
I usually untick everything apart from my wireless...

Hi,
Well, much as I'm interested I don't think I have that much to
offer, sadly :-) If the sample data gives you the information you want in a
format you can make use of then it's just putting it in...

They are all .sit / .zip files that I have downloaded either from IE or
safari, and they will not delete from my desktop - it says 'the item
XXXXXXXX is being used by another task right nmow etc ......

Hi,
It depends on how you hope to use the data really. I did use
http://www.evoxfacilities.co.uk/ and their geocoded interpretation of the
PAF. That was for an Oracle Spatial offering of an early Fin...

I hope someone can help me - over time I have amassed a certain number of
broken downloads onto my desktop or something - so when I try to delete them
it says 'being used by another application...
