I don't think "fair" comes in to it. You charge more either because you can
do stuff that other people can't, or because you can do it more quickly.
Anyway, as an experienced developer you should have a fair idea how
long it would take you to do it and hence what you would charge the
client. So offer your potential subcontractor a percentage of that to
do the work.
