Whoa there Carrie! You made an on-list comment implicitly suggesting I may
use this list to tout for legal business. The comment was uncalled for. I
responded openly and honestly that I do not tout and provided a clear reason
for it.
Many lawyers start off representing the disadvantaged and so on because it
brings direct experience of legal practice. As for disparaging "the honest
efforts of other workers" I take it that your close friend chose to enter
the family law arena of destroying the lives of families and children for
whatever reason in order to pay her mortgage! Correct summary? Not a good
debate to have on a Web developer forum, is it - regardless of how good she
is? I stand by my honestly held experiences and beliefs.
That's me finished with any part of this thread irrelevant to the original
topic.
Wish you the best in your pursuits Carrie.
Mike A.
