FN-FORUM: firewalls and ftp

Hi All
another poser....
if I have my firewall turned on I can ftp to the server, but only with
passive ftp turned off. (mac and windows)
My linux box cant ftp to it at all at all - get problems when it comes to
listing the directory. - all other ports are fine from all platforms.
However - if I turn the firewall off I can ftp no prob, from all platforms
Server is Fedora 6 and I am using Webmin with "linux firewall" menu choice.
netstat from server gives:
21/tcp open ftp
22/tcp open ssh
25/tcp open smtp
53/tcp open domain
80/tcp open http
110/tcp open pop3
111/tcp open rpcbind
143/tcp open imap
443/tcp open https
993/tcp open imaps
995/tcp open pop3s
3306/tcp open mysql
10000/tcp open snet-sensor-mgmt
relavent firewall rule gives:
20 ACCEPT tcp -- 0.0.0.0/0 0.0.0.0/0 tcp
dpt:21 state NEW
any idea how to adjust firewall to accept the passive method of connecting?
