I have only really used open source OS Commerce which is free and seems to
have a large support base. It is very popular and is constantly being
updated. They have forums and lots of help and advice...

Aren't these custom attributes?
There's nothing much to stop you from adding your own attributes to an
element (apart from a HTML validator) and I'm guessing that's what this
