Re: FN-FORUM: External hard drive - how to stop "spin-down"?

Could be around 5 -10 mins but I unchecked "turn of this device to
save power" for the USB hub to which Seagate hard drive is connected.
I have read several times that these external hard drives have
built-in "spin-down" feature regardless of Windows/USB settings.
