I was reliably informed in my last "proper" job that it was possible to
work for a large well-known American car company (beginning with F, ending
with D, with an OR in the middle) spending your entire time in meetings
:) From what I've seen working for another large* American car company,
this sounds perfectly possible. How they ever actually design any cars, I
don't know!
* where "large" is used in the American sense of the word: the building I
was in held 7,000 design engineers in one _huge_ open-plan office.
