FN-FORUM: MS Exchange SBS 2003
date posted 10th September 2007 08:46
I have an SBS 2003 Exchange server I'm setting up. I wanted to move the
store off drive C so using the directions from
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/821915/en-us I moved the various files
and set the permissions. But now my test Exchange system won't accept
connections from Outlook.
In Status section in Exchange System Manager it says that the SMTP
service and the server is available. But looking at the properties of
the server it says its stopped. But the services are running....
according to Services in Control panel. The only message in the event
log is.....
"Accept clients on external interface MAPIRPC failed with error 0x4b1. "
but my Goggle searches on that say the error can be ignored.
So what have I missed? Or is moving the store not supported in SBS?
Thanks .... Ken
