Xhtml/CSS developer required

Hi there,

I'm looking for a developer to take a site psd i've designed and make
it "work". Fully compliant xhtml and css needed, along with a little
bit of javascript.

Proposed 1 to 1.5 days work, really quick job.

You will need to have a good eye for design and a strict attention to
detail.

it's the sort of work I do all day, every day and I'm good at it.
But the bit that really annoys me here is the 1 to 1.5 days work line.

How can the designer know how long it will take to do the conversion?

or are they saying that's all they want to spend?

if it has to work, then how long it takes will depend on how complex
the design is, how many browsers need to be supported, if it has to
shrink, expand, how many different types of page there are etc.

Imagine if I posted a job that said full visual designs in PSD for
CMS driven site required, propose 1 to 1.5 days work...


Grrrrr....
