Take one fully standards compliant accessible web site currently used by
office based sales staff. Everything is working perfectly and has been for
months. Now load it on a laptop and give it to field based sales staff.
Since the application (without changes) has no facility for them to merge
their local database changes with the main sales database, when they return
to the office, the web app they are using is standards compliant and
accessible but is of no use to them whatsoever and so fails usability.
