It might be a bit low tech but google does it:
try the search term: 1 USD in BRL
or it's url equivalent
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=1+USD+in+BRL&btnG=Search

The exchange rates seem up-to-date.
I scrape/use them for USD | GBP | EUR | BRL in
http://www.braziloverseasproperty.co.uk/
