FN-FORUM: Os x dvd burner problems ...

I hope someone can help with this

I archived all my work using spindle packs of TDK DVDs - and I have been
writing using an external Lacie DVD burner using OSX 10.2 with Toast

All worked fine for a year or so - I burned 2 copies of each, both verified
- and I could read data off them



However a while ago I had problems burning to the TDK media, and I bought
some Sony DVD's - fine, so I started using them.



Now - the DVD burner will not recognise the TDK media I burned 6 months ago
- surely if it verified at the time it should be ok - and I am sure that I
have read off it previously




Now I know I will have to look at investing in new equipment - but has
anyone got an idea of what is happening and hopefully how I can fix it
