I think possibly Anuj is asking for the market rate rather than how to
figure his costs, they are not always the same?

I am sure there would be hugely varied rates from different individuals and
companies but fwiw I would say $1000 for an online booking integration is
about right. Because of the inevitable complications with this area we
rarely go below 500GBP for any site that involves online payment. If it
really was simple, e.g. no product database just some hard-coded products
plus minimal admin tools then I might consider less.

I am not sure what you mean by "complete database work" but I would suggest
you compare the amount of work for the amends to the amount of work for the
original job and scale accordingly. You know they went for the original
price, plus as I said that sounded reasonable to me, so if the amends are
priced in proportion that should be about right.

Of course the level of service you offer is a big factor in your pricing
also, if you have low availability for interaction with the client (e.g.
some overseas and some "attic" developers) or if you are aiming for a "cheap
and cheerful" solution you may need to compensate with a lower price. We
tend to aim for high service, high functionality hence we have to price
higher.

HTH,

Dai
