I seem to recall that the first principle of science is that any
"theory" is just that and might be disproved at any time, and that
nothing in science is anything more than observation and theory. We
cannot know for certain that the laws of thermodynamics hold true in
all cases. They don't even apply at the quantum level and so "science"
already acknowledges that it may be possible to create what appears to
be a chemical reaction that meets the requirements of over-unity
energy (perhaps from zero-point energy) - although that is unlikely to
be achievable in someone's garage with a bucket of water, a frequency
generator and an oscilloscope ;o)
I did also state that I thought the theoretical impossibility of
over-unity energy to be a good call, but that people are so focussed
on the "impossibility" of that part of the guy's "research" that they
completely ignore the real value of his discoveries. I am not
suggesting that you ignored it, but your reply does help support this
argument. Errrr .... thanks ;o)
