Then you'd know by now that out and out pimping isn't appreciated.
New members are welcome to introduce themselves - "hi, I'm a
freelance pottery decorator and Sanskrit translator" - but not to
the point of publishing a mini-CV and terms of business.
Old members who are providing new services are also welcome
to *announce* that fact - "hi, as you know I do bespoke befunge
but I've just started selling hand-painted deely-boppers".
Otherwise if you want to demonstrate your skills and expertise
you can do so by answering other people's questions. The other
perfectly acceptable way of saying what you do is in a short .sig
file.
If you'd kept it short then it probably wouldn't have triggered
Carrie's wrath, but by posting what looks very much like a
long advert for your services, you crossed a line.
