Yes, there are various libraries to generate PDF from PHP.

An interesting one coming along is that included with Zend Framework
(http://framework.zend.com/) but this doesn't have many higher-level
functions, yet.

I currently use an old one from http://www.ros.co.nz/pdf/ which has quite
a nice interface (quick tables, etc.).
