Why would you think I'd need reminding of that? Although Dan and Andy run
the site I'm sure they did not write the list server used (if so, for the
love of God why?!) so it's just a case of them selecting one of the many
open source list servers out there that work properly (majordomo for
example) and installing it.

I'd be happy to, the out of office messages don't bother me at all. However,
there are a number of people on the list (you included) who are not happy
to "take it or leave it" and insist on berating a user for something which
is actually a bug in our forum. When that happens, its sometimes good for
someone (me on this occassion) to point out where the fault actually lies.
