RE: SPAM-LOW: FN-FORUM: Hard coding to Protx help

Hi Nigel,
There is no 'hard coding' as such. Basically you need to build a store =
yourself, then simply forward the transaction details (ie the total =
payment sum) to protx. This is actually the simple part. Building the =
store is more complex.
Does your client know that protx is simply a secure payment gateway? He =
will also need to arrange a merchant account with his bank. The protx =
element doesn=E2=80=99t actually process the payment or take any money =
from the customer, that would be done via the online merchant banking =
account. This also has a hefty fee.
I should be able to help you out with this if you want. Out of interest =
how much are you charging your client?=20

I wonder if you guys can help.

I have a customer who I have designed a static website for. He has now =
announced, out of the blue, that he has signed up for Protx and wants to =
sell products. Great!=20
=20
Has anyone got any knowledge of hard coding to Protx without using an =
off the shelf e-commerce package? I have looked at the literature from =
Protx and it over my head!=20
=20
I suspect it will be a big headache. I have seen that Roman Cart links =
though as an interface for a price.=20
Thanks in advance.=20

Cheers=20
