Re: FN-FORUM: Yell.com : any good for freelancers?

I have tried them in the past as an agency and got absolutely nothing from
it. We do use Yell.com for our CD and DVD duplicating business though and
get tons of leads from that.
Yell.com and its like are more suited to understandable basics like
plumbing, electricians, copy shops, insurance and the like. But I would
suggest that any customer worth getting is likely to go with who they know
or ask for recommendations rather than pick a designer or programmer from
yell.com.
Ask yourself, if you needed someone like you where would you look?
