RE: FN-FORUM: Re: advice please

If you are looking to work with other businesses then it will be easier =
if you bill them otherwise you will be an official employee of this1st =
company. This will lead to difficulties when trying to work with others, =
especially I you later stop working for them.

However if you work as an employee of this company they are legally =
required to offer sick pay and all other benefits of being an employee =
of the company (Christmas parties etc etc)

P.s. im not an expert on this matter but it all really depends on your =
long term goal(s).

Subject: FN-FORUM: Re: advice please

I have been offered a position in business development and marketing for =
24 hours a week.=20

I originally pitched myself as a feelancer, I am being asked as to how =
I want to be paid, either on their books as paye, or as an individual =
charging for 3 days a week work or hourly or as a company.

What is best for me? At present this is my only client but I will be =
trying to pick up more work.

Kind regards

Hiscox seem to be reasonably priced, although ive not done much =20
comparison
to be honest.

www.hiscox.co.uk/directmail

I can vouch for Hiscox, they put me in touch with Blyth Valley, who =20
offer better cover for those offering 'riskier' services, ie, =20
dedicated server hosting.

Ciaron.
