Hey Peter,
With my experience of flash, it may all need to be in the flash
file, but depending on the size of the music file, and if you want it
looping or or played once, may make a very large impact on the size
of the file, using a preloader is a good idea for a big file, if you
can find one/a tutorial that will suit what you need.
